Subject: Lexan and Mylar-D
Curious to know of experiences comparing the use of Lexan (polycarbonate film from GE) and Mylar-D (polyester film from DuPont) in artifact storage. Are there any concerns with the performance of polycarbonate clear film (where polyester film is clear, stable, breathable and inert) from a conservation perspective?
