The successful applicant will possess sound experience and theoretical knowledge of preservation microform and digital reformatting techniques and issues. The occupant will be required to plan, supervise and deliver the preservation treatment programs for paper based materials. A sound knowledge of, and practical competence with, computers and the nature of digital information, archiving of data and physical formats is essential along with the ability to liaise and communicate effectively.
