UV filters

Mr. Bloeser inquires concerning clear UV film. There are a number of
manufacturers, including LLumar <URL:http://www.llumar.com/>, 3M
800-480-1704), Solar Screen 718-592-8222),  Solis
<URL:http://www.southwall.com/> and Vista <vista [at] neocomm__net>. I'm
sure there are others.

I'd caution, however, that both visible and UV are equally damaging
to collections. Although I know nothing of the intended use, I
wonder about the circumstances in which it is important to eliminate
UV, while insisting on a clear film, thereby allowing full visible
light energy to fall on collections?
