I have found using natural light is great when the light is right
and is very restful on the eyes too.  However, the light isn't
constant. The variability levels have a major impact on what one
sees. This is a problem when surface-cleaning but is a significant
problem during any in-painting sessions. The colours keep changing
and shadowing effects occur.  So, basically, the conservator's
ability to work correctly is significantly impaired. Faithfully,
