If the basics of lead corrosion are similar to those of other metals, the use of Corrosion Intercept might offer some protection. At the AIC St. Louis meeting, Eleonora Nagy gave a talk outlining her use of CI to protect brass and copper sculpture. CI is now available as a Coroplast board, as well as laminated to paper, cloth, and to card for boxmaking. I hope to have this information posted on our web site, along with links, as soon as I can get my 18 year old assistant to sit still and finish the new web site. Perhaps a day or two?...
