The Bay Area Art Conservation Guild's (BAACG) next meeting is a
field trip to tour the Conservation Lab located in the Doe Library
(room 9) at the University of California, Berkeley campus on
Tuesday, June 1st, 5:30pm - 7:30pm. The facility is dedicated to the
preservation of research libraries with archival and non-archival
materials. A representative from the three units, Circulating
Collections, Rare Books and Paper Conservation, will be on hand to
explain what each does. Parking is always difficult in
Berkeley--please consult the UC-Berkeley web page

information and a map of the campus. The tour will start promptly at
6:00pm. This meeting is free for BAACG members--non-member cost is
$5.00--student cost is $3.00. Refreshments will be served. For
