Mold

We have a question about cleaning mold from books. We have accepted
a donation of some books that have mold on them. Do you have any
information about using vinegar in a dilute solution for cleaning
books to control mold?

Everything that I have seen so far suggests chlorine bleach (in what
strength solution?), vacuuming, uv light and so on, but I seem to
recall that vinegar is a very acceptable, cheap, non-toxic product
that could be used to kill or at least retard mold growth.
