Treatments documented on web

In re: Gudrun Aurund's comments about conservation treatment
documentation posted on the web, I suggest readers check out the web
site of the Thomas Wolfe Memorial State Historic Site in Asheville,
NC. In July, 1998 a serious fire damaged the site, the boyhood home
of author Wolfe which he fictionalized in his novel Look Homeward,
Angel. Their web site <URL: http://home.att.net/~WolfeMemorial/>
offers constant updates on the restoration of the house and
contents. They also offer a link to the NC Department of Cultural
Resources site, which has more information about the fire and
pictures of the damaged house.
