A full-time position is currently available as lecturer in the
conservation/restoration of mural paintings and interior decoration
of historic buildings.

Responsibilities include teaching at undergraduate and graduate
levels, advisory work and research on the conservation and
restoration of objects and in situ in the above areas. The lecturer
is also expected to assume teaching responsibilities outside the two
departments. A more detailed job description can be requested from
the Rector.

Qualified applicants must hold at least a Master degree in the above
subjects, equivalent to a Master of Science degree from the School
of Conservation, Denmark. Applicants specializing in
conservation/restoration of mural paintings and/or interior
decoration of historic buildings will be preferred.

The application should include relevant degree certificates, a
curriculum vitae and a list of publications. Furthermore, teaching
qualifications should be specified in the application.

Foreign applicants will be expected to conduct classes in Danish
within two years from the time of appointment. Until then, classes
are expected to be conducted in English.

Salary and conditions of appointment are in accordance with the
agreement between The Danish Ministry of Finance and the Danish
Association of Masters and PhDs.

The School of Conservation is an independent educational institution
under the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. About 100 students are
educated on three levels with a PhD-degree as the highest level. The
aim is to educate students to care for our heritage and to conduct
research in the area.
