Fossilized tree

From: Zu-Chun Liao <zchun>

Here is a question from my colleague.

The paleontology department had an excavation two years ago and
found a huge fossilized tree. The researcher moved the object
back to my museum at that time and recently they found out the
object has turned to be pieces. They try to use B72 to glue all
the pieces together but it does not work. Right now the
fossilized tree still in turning pieces' process. Is there any
method to stop or delay the deterioration? Thanks,
