Accreditation

From: Adrian Tribe <a.tribe>
Date: Tuesday, April 13, 1999
In the UK, the Joint Accreditation Group (JAG) of The Conservation
Forum is drawing up a common accreditation framework, the purpose of
which is to apply and recognise a common standard across the
conservation profession, regardless of the route taken to reach a
professional level of capability, the specialism of the conservator,
or the context he or she practises in. A set of documents, in draft
form, have been prepared and made available at the Web address given
below for the Professional Accreditation Trials, taking place
between March and May 1999. The documents will be finalised at the
end of June 1999, and will be implemented in January 2000.
