Conservation of wall paintings

I am in charge of writing a brief introduction of wall painting
conservation, which is part of a book entitled "Technology of
Conservation of Cultural Property in China". The introduction is
intended to give readers an overall picture of wall painting
conservation has been and currently be carried out throughout the
world. Any information on this topic would be highly appreciated.
