Hague Convention

UNESCO's web site contains a press release (datelined Paris, March 3
{No.99-34}) titled, "Hague Conference to Adopt New Measures for
Protection of Cultural Property in Armed Conflicts." It summarizes
the purpose of the meeting that is now being held in The Hague (from
March 15 to 26, 1999).
