Blood stains on textile

    As a student of textile conservation I am investigating the
    possibilities for the conservation of a 17th century linen
    shirt. Besides mud, the shirt contains bloodstains that are very
    degraded and brittle. I would like to share in any experience
    with the conservation of bloodstains on textiles.
