Archaeological Objects Conservator
National Museum of Beirut

The conservation laboratory of the National Museum of Beirut is
looking for an archaeological objects conservator to fill a 3-month
temporary position with possibility of extension, starting April
1st, 1999.  The salary for the position is US $1000 per month,
accommodation and return air fare to Beirut to be provided by the
Museum.

Work will focus on conservation of objects from the Museum's
collections in preparation for re-display.  Applicants should have
recognized training and experience in the conservation of
archaeological metals, as well as ceramics, glass, stone, and some
organic materials.
