The Walters Art Gallery

The Walters Art Gallery seeks an experienced paper conservator who
will have primary responsibility for the survey, examination,
treatment and technical study of the museum's collection of
European, American and Asian works of art on paper and related
objects.  The conservator will also participate in the examination
and treatment of manuscripts and printed books in the collection,
supervise the work of contract conservators, and work with in-house
art handlers and contract technicians on exhibitions, loans and
rehousing projects.  The conservator will report to the Senior
Conservator of Manuscripts and Rare Books.

This permanent position includes a competitive benefits package.
Salary commensurate with experience.  Graduate degree in
conservation, or equivalent training, and at least five years
