The Bishop Museum in Honolulu has some information about caring for

Here's a response we received on the Museum-L list regarding the
care of tapa.

The Texas Memorial Museum has a very concise 4 page article in their
Conservation Notes series called "Repair and Display of Fijian Tapa
Cloth". This publication also has a suppliers list and a short
bibliography to point you toward other resources.  It is No.5 July
1983. (ISSN 0738-6788) This publication is available from:
