ICOM Israel and The Israel Museum Conservation Dept., announce a one
day seminar on various related conservation subjects. The seminar
will take a place in the Israel Museum on Sunday 28 February 1999,
lectures will start 10:30 AM and will included the following
subjects:

    Introduction to XRF analysis and its uses in conservation
    Introduction to Carbon 14 dating analysis
    Ethics and esthetics in conservation
    "The Head from Jericho", an object conservation study case
    Conservation of large size ceramic object from the chalcolithics
    period, an object conservation case study
    Conservation of watercolor on spider web, a paper conservation
    Case study
