Mold

People who are interested in mold and its effect on human health
will want to tune to 60 Minutes this Sunday, Feb. 7 (CBS, 7 pm
Eastern, 6 pm Central time) for an interview with Joanne Callahan, a
recovering patient.  I heard her at the Bioaerosols Conference in
Saratoga Springs last September when she reported on her experiences
working in a moldy "sick building."  She is better now, but unable
to work in the old environment and may never recover fully.  It is
not well known, even by doctors and lawyers, how sick a person can
get from heavy mold exposure, even if they are healthy and in the
prime of life.  This interview should make the hazards and
consequences more widely recognized.
