Monuments Conservation Technician

The Central Park Conservancy, (the private not-for-profit
organization that administers Central Park in New York City) is
seeking a Monuments Conservation Technician.  The position is
responsible for the examination, condition assessment and treatment
of all bronze and stone sculpture in Central Park. Essential for
this position is a facility in a wide range of sculptural techniques
including but not limited to TIG and/or MIG welding, mold making,
stone carving and bronze patination. Facility with photography and a
range of computer programs is helpful.  The position pays $30,000
per annum with excellent benefits.  The Central Park Conservancy is
