Source for collagen

As one who has received a box of Rick Cavasin's parchment shavings I
can attest to the ease with which they may be converted into
adhesive.

I am also a friend of his, and knowing something about what all else
he has to do, would encourage interested people to purchase
shavings/trimmings rather than make Rick cook the stuff up and dry
it out for re-use.

Shavings, of course, convert more quickly than trimmings.

And it just occurred to me, the shavings might also work well as a
reinforcement to weak areas of a parchment mss. leaf which did not
quite require the strength of gold beater's skin.
