Subject: Clean-up
In response to Henry Grunder's and Sandra Markham's search for a disposable moist towel for cleaning hands when handling paper objects: I know that at one time Ellen Young, formerly of the Straus Center for Conservation, tested several types of disposable moist towels for use in Mongan Study Center of the Fogg Art Museum. She simply tested them by wiping them on a clean sheet of glass to see if there was any residue. Residue meant failure. Maybe someone at the Straus Center could respond more thoroughly to this query?
