UKIC Furniture Section visit to Sotheby's

UKIC Furniture Section New Year Outing

Summers Place, Billingshurst, West Sussex

An all day visit to Sotheby's at Billingshurst.  Half the day will
be a private preview of The English Furniture Sale, the other half
to be spent in the Restoration Workshops accompanied by Michael
Huntley.

Our group of twenty will be split into two groups, one of which will
spend the morning at the preview, the other, in the workshops.  We
will then meet for a social lunch around the same table in the
restaurant, after which the visits will be reversed.

Cost:  10 pounds sterling including lunch (please pay on the day)
The low cost has only been made possible by the generosity of
Sotheby's who have waived the usual 100 pounds sterling  fee for
such visits.

We will circulate the list of participants when fully booked, so
that cars may be shared.  The nearest station is Billingshurst, a 10
minute taxi drive from Sotheby's.
