We are now into the last week for applications for the inaugural
meeting of the Archaeology Section's Anniversary conference series.
Subjects to be addressed in the meeting include conservation in the
archaeological process, the impact of the Treasure act, metal
detecting and standards within the profession.  These issues are
also relevant to archaeologists and museum professionals because of
the close working relationships.

Session chairs: David Leigh, Pete Hinton, John Clark Speakers: Mike
Corfield, Elizabeth Goodman, Celia Honeycomb, Virginia Neal, Jim
Spriggs, Kate Starling, Sarah Watkins and Rob White.
