Subject: Thin sections of waterlogged wood

I should have made it clear that these samples are from water-logged wood, so it would damage the thin-sections to allow them to dry out. I am looking for ways in which to make them permanent, while still keeping them hydrated. The advice I've received so far is to mount them in glycerol as usual, then just seal the edge of the cover slip with a resin. Comments?
