Photocopying as treatment aid

Tip: If you have a small document or map that is in pieces, you can
photocopy it onto the plastic sheets used for overhead
transparencies.  Then do tape removal or other treatment.  When it
is time to reassemble the artifact, the photocopy can be used under
or over the document to aid in the placement of fragments.  This is
a useful supplement to regular photocopies.
