Frank Benson

I am interested in hearing from any paintings conservators who have
had experience in the treatment of paintings by Frank Benson.  I
would be particularly interested in information regarding the
solubility of his signatures and in a any possible solubility
problems with glazes or other transparent layers (such as tinted
varnishes) possibly applied by the artist.
