WAAC Annual Meeting

The Western Association for Art Conservation (WAAC), a 23-year-old
nonprofit professional association based in California, is holding
its 1997 annual meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, October 26 - 29.

Local hosts include the Heard Museum, the Phoenix Art Museum, the
Deer Valley Rock Art Center, the Phoenix Arts Commission, and the
Central Arizona Museum Association.

During the WAAC Annual Meeting, papers will be presented on a wide
range of conservation topics, and field trips to view nearby
cultural sites will be offered. Members and nonmembers alike are
invited to attend. Registration fees: WAAC members $85, nonmembers
$110 (includes WAAC membership), student WAAC members $45, student
nonmembers $70; late charge of $20 for all registrations received
after October 1.
