Interior Concerns Environmental Resources, Inc.
(http://www.interiorconcerns.org) publishes a comprehensive guide to
"green" building materials, including carpeting and carpet
adhesives. You're in luck! The sample guidelines posted on their
web site happen to be about carpet and carpet adhesives. They are
copyrighted, however, precluding me from cutting and pasting the
juicy bits to the DistList.

Also, the Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI)'s green labelling procedure
might be of interest to you. Their web site is
<URL:http://www.carpet-rug.com>.
