Position at J. Paul Getty Museum

The Department of Antiquities Conservation at the J. Paul Getty
Museum is seeking applicants for a limited term Assistant
Conservators position (Grade E07).  The successful applicant will
assist staff conservators in projects related to exhibition of the
collections masterpieces; packing, transport and installation of
antiquities to be exhibited at the new Getty Center (to open in
December) and in condition reporting objects as well as
environmental monitoring of galleries and storerooms.

Qualifications: the applicant should have a degree, certificate or
diploma in Conservation (or the international equivalent) OR
professional training and experience deemed equivalent plus two
years of full time professional experience in the field of objects
Conservation.

Salary will be determined by applicants experience.

This position is available immediately and is a limited term
position for no more than six months.
