Conservation Assistant Position

The American Museum of Natural History is seeking a conservation
assistant to help prepare a wide range of natural history specimens
for a new permanent hall opening in Spring, 1998.  Appropriate
candidates should have objects conservation or natural history
conservation back- ground.  Duties will include cleaning, repair,
and restoration of specimens under supervision of conservator and
exhibition coordinator. Term position open immediately until April,
1998.  Interested candidates must have graduate level conservation
education or considerable work experience.  Salary low $20's plus
benefits.
