See the News page The latest revisions to the Secretary of Interior's Historic Preservation Professional Qualification Standards have been finally published and the internet address (and instructions) follow. [AIC] Members will want to review the proposed changes made by the Heritage Preservation Services Office of the National Park Service and comment on them in light of the AIC Education and Training Committee's proposals. The Education and Training Committee's comments on this latest HPS draft can be found in the recent issue of the AIC Newsletter. Please forward your comments to Patricia Leavengood, chair of the Education and Training committee via the AIC office. If you know conservators who are NOT on the internet and therefore would not have access please inform them of the latest draft and share the information with them so that they too can comment. 1. Go to the GPO web site <URL:http://www.access.gpo.gov/su_docs/> 2. Under "Free access to Electronic Government Information Products", click on "Search and Retrieve Full Text Online via GPO ACCESS from over 70 databases" 3. The page heading will be GPO ACCESS. In the first text paragraph, click on the term "Federal Register" 4.
