Society of Archivists Conference

From 15th to 19th September 1997 the Society of Archivists will have
its 50th Anniversary Conference.

The theme of this years conference is 'Access', in its broadest
sense. There will be speakers from Europe and the USA.  There will
be sessions on a variety of subjects from bindings, seal and
photographic conservation to the use of a digital image scanner and
the use of the Internet by conservators.

This year two venues are being offered, these are the Public Record
Office at Kew, (thirty minutes from the centre of London) and
University College London in the centre of city.

There will also be an anniversary dinner at the Guildhall in London.
