Maori textiles

I am a textile conservator at Te Papa, Museum of New Zealand.
Currently I am researching the degradation of traditionally dyed
black fibre in Maori textiles. This research project is in
collaboration with the British Museum and Industrial Research
(N.Z.). I would be very interested in conversing with other
conservators who have or are conserving this fibre. This research is
investigating the types of treatments and their results.
