The web site of Siegl's Bookstore has been thoroughly updated at
<URL:http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/siegl/> The bilingual
(German/English) section "Books on Restoration & Museology" now
offers

    * Online-versions of Siegl's mail order catalog "Books on
        Restoration/Conservation & Museology" (more than 800
publications on the subject in German, English, Italian, and
        French):

        * The index is hypertext now (as the table of contents):
just click on a keyword in the left frame and you get
the respective book in the right one

        * This index contains also many more keywords than
the one in the printed version of the catalog

    * A download option for the whole catalog "Books on
Restoration & Museology" as a (zipped) Adobe Acrobat file:
view and print the catalog in its original layout *and* work
with it as "clickable" hypertext at the same time, search
for subjects you are interested in and use all the
advantages of having the whole thing on your own computer
(you'll need version 3 of the free Acrobat Reader do this
which is also available via the web site)

    * There's a new Internet Newsletter for "Books on Restoration"
(supplements to the catalog, also distributed by e-mail)

    * A listing of web links, newsgroups, upcoming events (you are
invited to add whatever you think is relevant to this
        subsection)
