Workshop on risk assessment and management--addendum

Due to the serious problems we have been experiencing with our
server and e-mail at the Canadian Museum of Nature's new Natural
Heritage Building (e-mail has been received by recipients in totally
different locations than those intended), we may not have received
your requests for information and registration forms for the
workshop "Assessing and Managing Risks to Your Collections"  to be
held in Ottawa, June 9 and 10, 1997.  If you sent such a request and
did not receive a response within 2 days of sending it, please send
it again.  Just to be on the safe side you may also want to send it
in by facsimile.

Because of this difficulty, please note that the deadline for
registration has been extended to May 20, 1997.  Otherwise there are
no changes. Participants are invited to make arrangements with the
coordinator (below) if they wish  visit the Canadian Museum of
Nature's new Natural Heritage Building during their stay.  It
contains the labs and collections (some 10 million specimens) and
was built in part because of the CMN's own risk assessment results.
