Vendors going out of business

Just wanted to let everyone know, it seems two major
Conservation-related vendors have gone out of business. S&W Framing
Supply of Garden City Park, NY, has just recently shut their doors.
I placed an order from them just weeks ago. Also, it seems that
ProLine, maker of fine Proline sleeves for housing of photographic
material, has been piece by piece been sold off, employees gradually
trimmed from 250-300 to 10-15 and now completely nixed, and
apparently now the power and the phones shut off as well. There are
other framing supply businesses out there, thankfully, but ProLine
will be a difficult business to replace. No company I know of makes
polypropylene sleeves of same quality for the price, at least during
the last 9 years that I've seen.
