Transporting books

    The Museum of Valor has just acquired a number of old, rare,
    leather bound books which must be transported some distance to
    us.  Many of the volumes are dry and fragile.  The heirs of the
    estate want the books moved immediately.  What precautions
    and/or treatments can we make to assure their safe journey?
