Subject: White gloves
Some 10 years ago I made soxhlet extractions of white unbleached cotton gloves. They showed to be full of organic material, probably fats and alkanes, but this has never been analysed. Therefore, if the purpose of using these is protecting the objects against corrosion, and to avoid redeposition of organic material on objects, the use of gloves should probably be avoided.
