Storing film and tape together

I could use some feedback on the efficacy of storing silver
microfilm and other film-base media (audio tape, video tape in the
same storage vault.

Traditional theory had it that film off gassing was to be contained
within like media and one never stored other film-base media with
silver microfilm.  I'm certain someone (or several someone's) have
covered this topic since the advent of PET.  Unfortunately, I have
no documentation on this particular topic in my files.
