Subject: Internship at Missouri Historical Society
Summer Conservation Internship Missouri Historical Society The Missouri Historical Society in St. Louis is accepting applications from graduate conservation students for a 10-week (paid) summer conservation internship. Applications from advanced undergraduate conservation students are also encouraged. Application deadline is April 15, 1997. The conservation intern will work in the objects conservation lab, assisting the conservator with the preparation of a wide range objects for a major exhibition scheduled to open in the fall of 1999. The internship is open to students who may not yet have decided on an area of specialization, and also to those who may have already established an area of focus. This is a perfect opportunity for students to gain excellent practical experience in a fast-paced and intense history-museum setting!
