Dictionaries

This is in response to Barbara Harmann's inquiry about a
multi-lingual dictionary of conservation terms. I currently have on
hand several copies of a "Glossary of Basic Archival and Library
Conservation Terms", published by K.G. Saur. It is the ICA Handbook
Series, Vol. 4. 1988. The glossary provides brief definitions of
terms in English, followed by the equivalent terms in Spanish,
German, Italian, French, and Russian. It has primarily book and
paper terms, but also includes some general conservation
