Moisture meters

I recently ordered a moisture meter using Janice Ellis' 30 October
1996 message as a starting point.  The supplier was

After talking with the Gardner Company, and their consultation with
the manufacturer (Delmhorst Instrument Company), we ordered the PA-2
moisture meter and the 19-E electrode.  This moisture meter is
specifically for paper and we wanted it mainly to determine if water
damaged paper was dry after salvage.
