Description of the current status of the service: Currently
published twice annually, this is currently in the form of a
traditional abstracting journal for the technological literature in
art, curatorship, museum collections, archaeology, ethnography,
architecture, conservation, and related fields. It is an important
tool for many educators, scientists, and practitioners in these
fields. After a thorough evaluation of the journal and its
audiences, the sponsoring organization is undertaking a redesign of
this resource to make it more easily available to its audiences.
Given the range of audiences targeted for this information,
electronic dissemination is the preferred medium, along with
innovative parallel means of distribution of hard copies.

Objectives for the near term:

To build the audiences among the full range of the fields
    represented in the literature.

To streamline the processes of production and management in
    house.

To make the information available in the most easily accessible
    form possible.

To continue to enrich the quality of the information.

Experience in publishing material in electronic formats, and in
    the transition to this medium

Experience and success in working in teams
