Subject: Hygrothermograph placement
In Instance 10:67, Rick Dzupina asks about the "best" position for a thermohygrograph within a room. This depends on what you are trying to measure. Are you interested in the environment of a particular object within the room? Are you interested in an "average" figure for the whole room? Unfortunately the environment in most rooms varies from place to place. By using a lot of thermohygrographs you can get an idea of how the conditions vary from place to place throughout the course of a day. Clearly there will be differences near doors and windows, sources of heat, ventilation grilles and so on.
