The Preserving Access to Digital Information (PADI) Web site gathers
a range of information in one place to assist creators/publishers,
managers, researchers, and all with an interest in ensuring
long-term access to important digital information. The prototype
form of this Web site may be accessed now at:

    http://www.nla.gov.au/dnc/tf2001/padi/padi.html

Your feedback is necessary to ensure the correct topics are covered
and no information missed. Anyone wishing to comment on this site is
welcome to contact the PADI Working Group through the feedback form
on the Web.

The PADI Working Group has received funding from the Australian
Vice-Chancellors' Committee and comprises representatives from the
National Library of Australia, the National Museum of Australia,
Australian Archives, the National Film and Sound Archive, the
Department of Communications and the Arts, the Australian Council of
Libraries and Information Services, CSIRO Mathematical and
Information Sciences, and the private information technology sector.
