Laminating paper and fabric

From: Jane Rutherston <janer<-a>

I am looking into methods of laminating thin Japanese paper to
synthetic materials such as very fine 100% polyester and nylon
fabrics--either woven or non-woven--for use in hinging album leaves
to conjugate stubs. Has anyone tried this? Can anyone suggest
suitable adhesives that are acceptable in conservation? It is
necessary that the adhesive should form a very fine film to avoid
bulking, and that it will retain its flexibility.
