New PLMS Discussion Group

A new discussion group for preservation course and workshop instructors
has been established in the Preservation of Library Materials Section,
American Library Association.  Its first meeting is scheduled for
Friday, January  22, 1993, 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. in Denver.  Location to be
announced soon.  Tentative agenda topics include course philosophy and
design, class assignments and projects, particularly successful
techniques and major problems.  All interested persons are welcome.
Participants are encouraged to provide copies of their course syllabi
and reading lists at the meeting.
