Positions at Pierpont Morgan Library

Patricia Reyes of the Pierpont Morgan Library has asked me
to post two positions for her.

The first is an assistant Conservator position.  Requirements a
graduate-level degree from a conservation program and a minimum of 1
year experience or the equivalent.  Excellent salary and benefits.

The second is a paper conservation intern for 9 months.
This is a non-renewable IMS conservation internship for a
student to work under the supervision of Patricia Reyes at
the Morgan Library.  The salary is $15,000 for 9 months plus
medical and vacation benefits as well as support to attend
AIC conference.  The candidate must completed 3 years of
training in a recognized conservation program or have
equivalent training or professional experience.  U.S.
citizenship or permanent residency is required.

For the internship, send a resume, a short description of interests,
letters of support from two conservation professionals familiar with your
work and copies of two reports on conservation treatments completed
