Condoms

The CCI found that Fourex natural sheepskin condoms make rather nice mending
material for gut/rawhide ethnographic materials when washed, cut open and
pinned out...(yeah, laugh all you want at the image...::grin::) but Tom Stone
had trouble getting the manufacturers to admit what was in the lubricating
material (he thinks they wrote him off as a crank..)  so maybe the stains
might be related to a lubricant/biocide?  I have forgotten if the case in
question was wrapped or open?
